This is one of the first posts I wrote when I became a blogger last year, which became one of my MOST popular ones!

Since the Super Bowl is right around the corner, I thought we could see who the football fans are, who your team is and who you think will be in the Super Bowl this year and win it?

I originally predicted the 49ers and the Ravens. Now I still think the 49ers will be there, but hoping for the Packers, as that is my younger son’s team, and not sure about the AFC now. I just want it to be a good game!

Now back to my original story. While my dad was in the Air Force and stationed in Duluth, Minnesota when I was young, he became a big Minnesota Viking fan.

At the time he had all daughters so he would sit me down when he was watching the games and explained everything to me, so much so that as I grew up, I knew as much or more than guys that I met along the way.

My two sisters came along, and so he sat them down too, and now they are also football fans. Both were born in Minnesota, and my middle sister still likes the Vikings.

Dad retired in Denver, to be close to family we had in different parts of Colorado. Over time he became a Denver Broncos fan, after watching their games and being surrounded by Denver fans.

My sisters had moved to other states, and one stayed a Viking’s fan, and my younger sister at first liked the Broncos, but once she moved to Ohio, she became a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fans, which she still is today.

I saw the Broncos go to many Super Bowls, but we know how that turned out until the late 90’s when they won two in a row!! WhooHoo!

We lucked out when they went again in 2016, as we live about 90 minutes from San Francisco to watch them win their 3rd Super Bowl! We made new friends from Denver while we were there.

You are probably saying enough of the Broncos since we live around Raider and 49er fans. All I am asking on the post is to be respectful of the comments and give your opinion but in a kind manner!

Who is your favorite team and why? Did you grow up loving a team and change as you got older? Our younger son liked Brett Favre and became a Green Bay Packer fan.
